This Privacy Policy explains how thejuiceconnoisseur.com and juiceconnoisseur.com (the "Site"), operated by The Juice Connoisseur, handles information.
The Site does not use cookies or analytics trackers. The one place we ask for personal information is the email sign-up card on juiceconnoisseur.com/change. If you click through to any other third-party service (e.g. filling out a partnership form or following us on social media), that service's own privacy policy governs the information you provide there.
If you enter your email address in the sign-up card on juiceconnoisseur.com/change, it is sent to our Substack publication (thejuiceconnoisseur.substack.com), which stores it and sends you our newsletter and updates about the Juice Emoji petition, new juice finds, and in-person meet-ups. Substack processes that information under its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We do not sell your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or ask us to remove your address by writing to thejuiceconnoisseur@gmail.com.
To avoid showing you the sign-up card repeatedly, the page saves a small note in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) recording that you closed the card or signed up. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
We use official APIs (Instagram Graph API, TikTok API, YouTube Data API) to retrieve the public follower/subscriber count of our own official accounts on those platforms. This is limited to our own account's public statistics — we do not access, collect, or store data belonging to any other user or visitor through these integrations.
The Site embeds or links to third-party services including YouTube (for embedded video), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Substack, and Amazon (for shop links). Each of these operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
